"About sign and transitions" is a performance by the theatre group "Oltre quella sedia", with the cooperation of Vittorio Simonovich. It approaches a very sad chapter in European history: the euthanasia program (Aktion T4) carried on by the Nazis against incurably ill and physically or mentally disabled people, starting from september 1939. The program was officially discontinued in 1941, but killings continued until the end of the war, in 1945. As a result, more than 200.000 people, considered by the Nazis "lives unworthy of life", were killed during World War II.
The performance, which was on stage on 27th January, is really touching and raises a question that will never have an answer: WHY?

Di segni e passaggi è uno spettacolo del gruppo teatrale "Oltre quella sedia", con la collaborazione di Vittorio Simonovich. Affronta un capitolo molto triste della storia europea: il programma di eutanasia (Aktion T4) condotto dai nazisti sulle persone molto malate e sulle persone affette da disabilità psichica o fisica, a partire dal settembre 1939. Il programma fu chiuso ufficialmente nel 1941, ma gli assassinii continuarono fino alla fine della guerra, nel 1945. Il risultato fu la morte, nel corso della Seconda guerra mondiale, di più duecentomila persone considerate dai nazisti "vite non degne di essere vissute".
Lo spettacolo, che ha avuto luogo il 27 gennaio scorso, è molto toccante e solleva una questione che non avrà mai una risposta: PERCHE'?
