A journey to the dark side of today's Europe
This is a three-years unfinished “diary” I kept during my trips here and there in Europe, especially in Italy, Serbia and Bosnia-Hercegovina. The diary is focused on modernity and it's key features, which are likely to be found, to a greater or lesser extent, in any part of the Continent.
Chaos and confusion can be seen everywhere, as well as places and people left behind, standing in isolation and desolation, covered by a toxic cloud of apathy and indifference.
Air pollution, environmental disasters, degradation of public buildings, factory closures, the strengthening of far-right movements, the increase in the number of homeless people and asylum-seekers are just some examples of that dark side of today's Europe which are noticeable from the South to the North, from the East to the West. My aim was simply to show them.
